Since 2022, 10 Billion Solutions has been working closely with the Global Center on Adaptation, an international organization dedicated to accelerating action on climate change adaptation. Our partnership has mainly focused on providing comprehensive communication services for GCA’s Youth Program, showcasing the organization’s work in mobilizing and helping the next generation of climate adaptation leaders.
Our collaboration began in 2022 with coverage of the Youth Dialogue on Adaptation Action preceding the African Adaptation Summit in Rotterdam. This project included photography, video production, and social media management for the two-day event.
Since then, our work with GCA has expanded to encompass a wide range of activities, including the execution of social media campaigns such as the “Double Adaptation Finance” initiative, which raised awareness about the urgent need for increased funding in climate adaptation projects.
10 Billion Solutions has been instrumental in covering key GCA events across multiple platforms, ensuring that the organization’s message reaches a global audience through strategic communication. Highlights of our work include coverage of adaptation events at COP27 in Egypt and for engagements during the African Climate Week in 2023.
We also covered the Bonn June Conferences on 2023 and 2024, and multiple events at COP28 in Dubai. A standout moment was our coverage of a high-level event on Adaptation Finance at COP28, featuring several African Presidents alongside notable international figures. For this event, we produce the video below among others.
Throughout our partnership, we’ve helped GCA amplify its voice in the global climate adaptation conversation, particularly in engaging and empowering youth. Our work has contributed to increasing visibility for GCA’s initiatives, fostering greater understanding of climate adaptation needs, and highlighting the critical role of youth in driving climate action.
