Rapid deployment of renewable energy is crucial to tackle climate change. At COP28, governments committed to tripling the installed capacity of renewable energy by 2030—a pivotal step to limit global warming to 1.5°C and secure a sustainable future.
10 Billion Solutions had the privilege of partnering with Iberdrola in 2023 for the Climate Week NYC and Dubai COP28, and in 2024 for a new Climate Week NYC. Iberdrola is a global leader in clean energy, grids, and storage that is establishing itself as a sustainable and diversified company.
Our goal was to effectively showcase Iberdrola’s commitment to sustainable energy and climate action on the world stage. During the conference, we focused on documenting the activities of Iberdrola’s CEO, Ignacio Sánchez Galán. Our team provided high-quality photography and video coverage of his engagements, capturing the essence of his participation in key events.
At COP28, a significant highlight was the meeting between Ignacio Sánchez Galán and Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, COP President, UAE Special Envoy for Climate Change, and Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology. This encounter underscored Iberdrola’s influential role in global climate discussions.
The video footage we produced was tailored and distributed to social media, international media outlets and television networks, ensuring that Iberdrola’s message reached a wide audience. The interviews conducted with Iberdrola’s chairman provided valuable perspectives on the company’s vision for a sustainable future.
