After 20 years of experience in the media and the UN, international journalist and communications expert Mariana Castaño Cano founded 10 Billion Solutions in 2020 to help organizations unleash the power of communications as a force for good.
In the current climate and ecological crisis, our vision is a world where everyone can enjoy a just and healthy life in balance with nature, free of the existential threat posed by climate change.
Based in France, 10 Billion Solutions offers communications consultancy services globally in English, Spanish and French. A purpose-driven climate and sustainability communications agency, 10 Billion Solutions is part of the Social and Solidarity Economy.

Spent the last eight years raising awareness about the need for fast and bold action to tackle the climate emergency. Passionate and knowledgeable of the complex international processes for the implementation of the Paris Agreement on climate change and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. She has coordinated a wide range of communications operations at all UN Climate Change Conferences, COPs, since 2014 up to now. Climate and sustainability communications strategist, facilitator of strategic relations between public and private institutions working in these fields.
